Cancellation Policy

In-Person Trainings:

Payment Policy:

  • To reserve program space a deposit of at least $450 is due at the time of registration.
  • The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before the program start date.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

  • Program deposit is not refundable. 
  • Refunds (less the deposit fee) will be given if requested six weeks or more prior to program start date.
  • Cancellations that occur 4 weeks or less from start date of workshop, will forfeit the Food fee (if there is one), the deposit & $500 of the program fee.
  • Student must submit a written cancellation notice.  The time of withdrawal will be based on the receipt of the written notice via email or postmarked. 
  • Refund checks will be sent to student within 30 days after the effective date of withdrawal.

Program Transfer:

  • If there is an opportunity to place you in a future program, each case will be worked with individually in an effort to help each student.  
  • There will be additional fees to transfer depending on the venue where the event is being held, payment processing/bookkeeping fees, and any other fees to organize the transfer.  
  • Student will be able to transfer to the same program offering within a one-year time frame.  

Virtual Trainings:

Payment Policy:

  • To reserve program space a deposit of at least $450 is due at the time of registration. 
  • The remaining balance is due prior to the date the educational box is mailed to the student (This usually occurs 6-8 weeks before the Live Virtual segment of the program).

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

  • Program deposit is not refundable.  
  • Full refunds (less the deposit fee) will be given if requested prior to mailing of educational box.  (This usually occurs 6-8 weeks before the Live Virtual segment of the program.)  
  • If the students cancelling requests this after the educational box has been mailed, there will be no refunds issued.  
  • Student must submit a written cancellation notice.  The time of withdrawal will be based on the receipt of the written notice via email or postmarked.  
  • Refund checks will be sent to student within 30 days after the effective date of withdrawal.  

Program Transfer:

  • If there is an opportunity to place you in a future program, each case will be worked with individually in an effort to help each student, by the guidance of this policy.  
  • There will be additional fees to transfer depending on costs already incurred by MariaAlive Therapeutics.  These costs can include payment processing/bookkeeping fees, mentor fees, assistant fees, and any other fees to organize the transfer. 
  • Student will be able to transfer to the same program offering within a one-year time frame.  

Scholarship Students:

  • If a student who was awarded a scholarship needs to cancel or withdraw, the student will lose the scholarship opportunity.  They will be required to re-apply for a new scholarship if they plan to attend the program at a later date, with no guarantee of scholarship availability.  

Cancellation of Program Offering by MariaAlive Therapeutics:

  • If MariaAlive Therapeutics has to cancel any program offerings, including Functional Yoga Therapy workshops, all fees prior paid (including deposit, workshop fee, food fee, homestay fee) will be reimbursed.  
  • MariaAlive Therapeutics is not responsible for any transportation or other fees that may be incurred due to cancellation.
