Experience Functional Yoga Therapy in a one-on-one private session. These sessions will help you better understand your unique body/mind dynamics as well as create greater self-awareness to the needs of your body, mind and spirit. You will learn how to overcome body challenges that other treatments may not have been able to fully address.
A session with me includes exploring how you live, feel and interact within your body and mind. Using yoga techniques of self-inquiry and body awareness, you will help me to discover imbalanced patterns within your body creating issues. We often begin with the foundation, your physical body. I’ll perform a non-invasive body assessment, looking at your postural assessment and joint range of motion, and performing simple tests to check muscle strength, flexibility and proprioception/balance.
Together we’ll come up with a tailored plan outlining therapeutic movements that you can start to use immediately. I may also suggest specific Ayurvedic body treatments to help your practice and support your healing.
