| 2. Join FYT Facebook Group and Private Group for Tucson 2025. | Whenever – This is your space to meet others in past and current cohorts and ask questions and share ideas. Maria, Emily and other Mentors/Faculty also have access. |
| 3. Introduction Section is available to read and sign waivers. | 10/12/24 – Must be completed by October 30. Access learning system on the home page of MariaAlive.com – upper right corner “Functional Yoga Therapy Advanced Training – Enter Here“. |
| 4. FYT learning package arrives in mail. | Around October 10. Contains your manual and some goodies. NOTE: there will be more handouts when you arrive in Tucson |
| 5. Mentor Assignments will be emailed to each student and given to mentors. | By October 12. |
| 6. Meet your Assigned Mentor by phone or zoom. | Between October 15 and October 26. Your mentor will contact you via email to schedule a 15-minute conversation to get to know each other and plan how to work together. |
| 7. Preparatory Work Section I is available to begin learning. | 11/1/24 – Must be completed by November 30. NOTE: Lesson #15 requires an intake be sent to your mentor. Preparatory Work Section II will not be available to access until this Section I is completed. |
| 8. Preparatory Work Section II is available to begin learning. | 12/1/24 – Must be completed by January 4, 2025 in order to access Preparatory Work Section III. NOTE: Lesson #19 requires a postural assessment be sent to your mentor. |
| 9. Preparatory Work Section III is available to begin learning. | 1/5/25 – Must be completed by February 2, 2025 in order to take part in the in-person training in Tucson Arizona February 17-20, 2025. NOTE: Lesson #23 is a partner assignment and requires a brief synapsis be sent to your mentor. |
| 10. Welcome Zoom Meeting | Sunday February 2 @ 10am Tucson Time – Introduction to our team and time to ask questions about coursework. 1hr meeting is not mandatory and will be recorded |
| 11. In-Person Training, Tucson Arizona | February 17-20, 2025 |
| 12. Final Exam – Intake, Assessment & Therapeutic Protocol development with client. | Final Exam will be conducted on the last day of the in-person training, with a client that you will be assigned to. You will be given the materials needed to complete the assessment, and will have partner help with another student and your mentor overseeing. |
| NOTE: IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATE ALL OF THE ABOVE NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED, INCLUDING MAKING SURE YOU “MARK COMPLETE” EACH SEGMENT OF STUDY ON THE LEARNING SYSTEM. |
